Maison Jaguar is a Mexican restaurant located on Goya street in the upscale Salamanca neighborhood of Madrid. The spectacular design is lush and jungle-inspired. Madrid-based Mil Studios was the lead design studio and collaborated with Dichoso Studio4Retail was in charge of the construction of the 450 m2 space.

The decoration is maximalist, exuberant, and ornate with a profusion of details and a mix of materials. Natural cane and clay finishes, floral patterns, and animal print on textiles, the wallpaper, ceramic mosaics, leaves, plants, the irregular forms on the ceiling, and the subtle and carefully crafted lighting provide guests with an immersive experience of being in a jungle. It is a unique space that promises diners the chance to disconnect in the city and enjoy the richness of Mexican cuisine.

“There are renovations of venues with other interior design styles that are much more straightforward in their execution, for example, industrial or minimalist. The profusion of details in a restaurant like Maison Jaguar required our team to be very demanding in all phases of the work to meet expectations,” says Pau Galard, co-founder of 4Retail. “Undoubtedly, the key to achieving excellence in the final quality control of this work has been, first, our extensive experience in restaurant and retail projects and, second, our daily follow-up and executive attention service, along with our technical team,” explains Javier Paradell, co-founder of 4Retail.
